Frequently Asked Questions

  • No experience is necessary to take a beginner, hand-building or all level class!

    Intermediate classes, and memberships require previous experience.

  • Classes are 18 and over. Classes that allow children are offered occasionally and will be clearly marked as allowing children and teens.

  • We have a crucible 286 manual kiln.

  • In the classroom:

Cancellations and Refunds

Because Clay Club classes have limited enrollment, cancellations can significantly affect whether a class is able to run. Please review the following policy before enrolling.

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the first class meeting are eligible for a full refund.

    Cancellations made less than 14 days before the first class meeting are nonrefundable unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist or another student.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your enrollment to another person before the class begins. Please contact us in advance so we can update the registration information.

    Transfers are only applicable before classes start. If you have already attend one or several classes, the remaining class sessions cannot be transferred to someone else.

  • Tuition is not prorated or refunded for classes missed by students. Because our classes are small and scheduled as multi-week sessions, we are generally unable to offer individual make-up classes.

  • Clay Club reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met or if circumstances prevent the class from running as scheduled.

    If Clay Club cancels a class before the session begins, enrolled students will receive a full refund.

    If an individual class meeting must be canceled after the session has begun, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the missed class. Clay Club generally does not hold class on holidays. Classes that fall on holidays will be pushed to the following week.

  • Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
